Two years ago Linda and I read an article in the Summit Daily about a group that took a trip to Alaska in an RV. They rented an RV as part of Great Alaskan Holidays Spring Adventure Package. In the program, renters pick up an RV at the Winnebago plant in Forrest Iowa and deliver it to the company in Anchorage, Alaska. We talked to Linda's sister and she said she would like to go with us if we took the trip. Last Fall decided to try to go on the trip, but only made the waiting list. The trip books up about a year early. In February, we got a call asking if we were still interested. We jumped at the opportunity. We travel to Minneapolis on May 17th, pick up the RV on the 18th and spend the next 17 days traveling to and. Touring Alaska. This blog recounts our travels during the trip.
