We got out by 8:30 today. We have a long way to go to get to Banf. We got to the border crossing at Sweet Water on I15, and had about a 30 minute wait. No problem with entrance or customs. We stopped just over the border for a picture and saw 11 elk in a field and got some pictures. Then it was on northward. We stopped for lunch at Lethbridge and got Canadian dollars. The Travel Center was great. Lunch was at a local café, the food was superb and relaxing. Then we were on the road again to Calgary. We got to Calgary at about 4:45, right in the middle of rush hour. All 1 million of the residents must have been on our road. After several wrong turns we finally got thru town about 5:45 and were finally heading for the mountains--only 80 miles to go. We got to Banf. We stayed at the Tunnel Mountain Provincial Campground. It is a super place with great views, showers, easy in and out and level. We also got some pictures of the mountains in the early evening which is now after 9PM. Today's journey was 406 miles. Blogs are being delayed because of the lack of available wifi.
